6/26/2009 - Lt. Col. (Dr.) Rob Thaxton, 59th Medical Wing physician, explains to Algerian medical officers the set-up of the decontamination bay in the Wilford Hall Medical Center emergency department June 25. The visit, sponsored by the U.S. Africa Command, provided an opportunity for the Algerian officers to become more familiar with the military's capabilities and identify opportunities for future collaboration. The Algiers were also provided briefings on the 59th Medical Wing mission, hospital administration and logistics, Graduate Medical Education, Critical Care Air Transport Teams and toured the Clinical Research Center.
