2/20/2008 - LACKLAND AIR FORCE BASE, Texas -- Approximately half of the Brooke Army Medical Center's Department of Behavioral Medicine, including the department's leadership, has moved to Wilford Hall Medical Center and is now located in WHMC on 8D.

Additionally, some of BAMC's Family Behavior Medicine Service and part of their Neuropsychology Service also relocated to 8D in WHMC.

Approximately 50 percent of BAMC's Child and Adolescent Psychology Services also moved to 8D in WHMC.

The Behavioral Health Service, which provides Clinical Health Psychology Service is also divided. The health psychologist from the Hematology/Oncology Department at BAMC is now located at WHMC on the 6th floor, along with the BAMC Hematology/Oncology Chief.

Given the division of the Department of Behavioral Medicine, administrative support is located in both hospitals to support clinicians at both locations.
